2025 Plans
The Red Riding Hood Saga, Falcon Talks, and more!
Hi everyone!
I hope 2025 has been treating you well so far. 🙂
As for me, it’s been a rough start, work-wise - and it’s only looking to get rougher for the rest of the year… 😔
But, some of you are probably only here to see what I have planned for this newsletter for this year, so I’ll leave that sad sack of a story till the end! 😅
Fiction Plans
February - I’ve been working on a short story retelling the battle between foster brothers Cú Chulainn and Ferdiad in the Táin Bó Cúailnge, and I hope to have that completed for release in February!
March/April - Then, we return to The Red Riding Hood Saga in March or April! As mentioned, The Further Adventures of Red Riding Hood may be over, but I still have a few more stories planned for the Saga - the first of which will be the two-parter tentatively titled “The Seven Knights of Princess Snow White”, which will see the Band of Seven reuniting to defend the capital from the dragon Fáfnir!
Sometime in 2025 - After that interlude away from Red, we’ll return to her adventures with a four-parter to end The Red Riding Hood Saga. This multi-part conclusion to the Saga will see Red adventure with a new companion, Scheherazade!
Falcon Talks
I’ve been working on a new Falcon Talks about Spider-Man the famour proverb that starts with, “With great power…” Hoping to have that out next week!
Other than that, these will have to stay irregular and the topics will have to depend on my mood and time, unfortunately - due to work and me prioritizing my fiction writing in my spare time, sorry!
Others
Ko-Fi or Buy Me a Coffee - I’ve been thinking about starting one, just in case anyone wants to throw me a little something something. 😉 Currently leaning towards Ko-Fi, since they support Paypal and Buy Me a Coffee doesn’t, from what I can see. But, if anyone has any more info that I should be aware of, please let me know!
Audrey, The Unicorn Girl - I haven’t mentioned this in over a year now… And that’s because I actually lost two artists while trying to get this comic completed! We’re on the third artist now, and we’ve progressed to the penultimate chapter! Hoping to have more solid release plans when it’s all done!
Music - As some of you heard in A Song of Hope, I do also like to do music every now and then. So while I don’t have any concrete plans, I would love to get back more into it this year!
The Sad Sack Story
I… don’t know why I made it sound like it’s that earth-shattering of a story back in the intro… But now I can’t change that intro because it looks too solid… 😅
Long story short - the Manager of my team at work went on parental leave late last year, so my co-worker and I took on most of the managerial duties of the two squads of the team (each taking one squad), on top of our regular duties (though some team members have also stepped up to help us with some of those 🙂). But now, my Co-Acting Manager of the team will also be… going on parental leave! So now I have to drop the “Co-” and just be the ONLY Acting Manager of the team… ON TOP OF MY REGULAR DUTIES! 😱
So, needless to say, work will be much busier for me for the rest of the year…
I hope that it doesn’t cut into my fiction writing plans too much, but I am pretty sure that updates on this newsletter will become a little more sparse throughout the year…
But, I hope that you’ll stick around, and enjoy the time that we do have together! 🙂
