In which a writer sings...

Hi everyone,

It’s that time of the year again, where this one’s ending and we move on to the next.

I thought about doing a year-end wrap-up post, but I decided to talk to you all about something else instead...

…

Life... Life is hard sometimes.

Wait, stay with me here!

Just recently, I had my heart broken 💔 - it was RIPPED OUT OF ME AND TORN ASUNDER!

And this was after I had to get surgery to have my gallbladder removed.

So, apparently, I’ve just been losing organs left and right this year. 😆¹

And work… Ooph, work’s been running me ragged, even when I was sick and then when I was recovering from surgery…

That’s not even mentioning all the various events that happened around the world throughout the year - some of which are still happening right now.

There’s a point to this, I promise!

So, yeah… Life is hard sometimes…

I recently came across a poem, though.

A poem about something that we should try to hold on to during the hard times, about something that we should try to instill in others during the dark times.

And that thing, of course, is hope.

I was so inspired by this poem, that I wanted to make a song out of it.

And if you would grant me some of your grace, I would like to sing it for you:
