A look back...
Hi everyone,
Happy New Year!
I’m still on break, but I thought that I’d start the new year off with a look back at last year, and then also highlight some winter-themed stories that I’ve created over the years. 😄❄
A Look Back at 2024
2024 was sort of rough for me, as those of you who’ve followed me know.
I won’t rehash it, but you can read a summary of it and hear me sing about hope if you are new here. 😆
But, as rough as it was, I’d like to think that I produced some good work!
All the stories for The Further Adventures of Red Riding Hood actually came out in 2024! And Falcon Talks also started last year as well!
So, to celebrate that, I’d like to highlight two pieces from 2024:
The first is a short story that I’m the proudest of from last year. A quieter piece where Red travels to a land far from her home and meets Mulan. They both embark on a quest for the Medicine of Immortality - with Red hoping that it can cure her beloved Princess, while Mulan is under orders to retrieve it for her Emperor.
The second is a piece where I (through the inspiration gained from a scene from Zeta Gundam) talk about being young and growing old. It was an emotional piece to write, and I hope that my feelings and thoughts came through!
Wintertime Stories
As we head into the winter (for some of us, that is… 😅), I also wanted to highlight some of the winter-themed stories that I’ve created over the years!
First up is a cheery little tale about a boy and a snowman!
Next is the three-part epic where the knight Lady Red Riding Hood confronts the mysterious Snow Queen!
And last is the horror-tinged tragedy that is “Daughter of the Snow”…
