Hi there, E.H.

That's a fascinating exploration in Poetry. A return to epic verse creation stories....

It reads well in modern English, but it also sounds like it could be an ancient Norse myth, or from an even earlier time in Europe, of animist beliefs and tribes.

I just dropped in to say "thankyou" for restacking my own poem "Kngwarreye" - which itself begins with an epic journey....

I lived for many years in remote Aboriginal communities and attended much traditional ceremony. Their animist beliefs contain many creation stories based on ancestral spirit beings whose travels and exploits explain the nature of the land and the environment in which the people live.

So your modern piece feels like a fresh addition to age old traditions. Great job!

Best Wishes - Dave :)

Oh! Thank you very much!

I was, indeed, trying to evoke many of the creation myths that I've read and heard about over the years - so I'm glad to see that someone picked up on it!
