Hi everyone,
Earlier, I had posted my 2025 plans, and that had included a short story featuring Cú Chulainn for February.
Unfortunately, as I was trying to write it, I found that I had… lost my passion for the story. 🙁
I was getting too “mechanical” about it - just trying to write down words to fill in the plot points that I had already outlined earlier.
When I realized this, I also realized how boring the story was turning out to be…
So, I’ve decided to shelf the story, for now at least, and move on to the next Red Riding Hood Saga story instead.
That does mean that I don’t have a short story for you this month (though my recent narrative poem was a pleasant surprise 🙂). However, since we’re so close to Valentine’s Day, I thought that I could, at least, send you to some of my earlier stories which feature romance in them!
Irene Upon Reading Watson - a short and cute story!
The Rapunzel in a Field of Rapunzels - a flirty, saucy story with action!
The Singing Head of Orpheus - a story about love after death…
For Love, Lu Bu Betrays His Foster Father - an action story featuring romance!
A Taste of Love in Hearts and Minds - actually a horror story, but love is heavily featured; so if you like your love stories just absolutely COVERED with horror… 😱
And that’s it from me this time - back to writing… 😅
Happy Valentine’s Day!

I'm so sorry you lost passion for writing your Cú Chulainn story. I hate when that happens. It sucks when you have a cool idea for a story and then struggle to write it. It's happened to me so many times.
